What are the benefits of using BIWallet?

When you cancel a booking, it may take 5-7 working days before the refund amount is credited to your bank account. In case of immediate rebooking this means money that you cannot use. With Wallet the refund amount is available to you as soon as we process refunds (this is usually within 4-6 hours except in certain cases) thus enabling you to make new bookings without any wait. On top of the above BIWallet regularly releases offers for its users to avail cash back while using BIWallet

How long can I hold funds in my BIWallet?

As long as you want. The funds in your BIWallet never expires.

What happens if I fall short of funds in my BIWallet when making a fresh booking?

You can pay for your booking either fully or partially by BIWallet. Any amount left after using BIWallet could be paid using other payment options like Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking etc.

Can I transfer funds to or from my BIWallet?

Currently funds can only be transferred to BIWallet during cancellations. Also, funds can only be transferred out while making a booking online on BusIndia.com.

Where can I use the funds in my BIWallet?

You can use the funds in your BIWallet only for online Bus, hotel & Cab bookings.

BIWallet is the instrument to park money in your BIWallet Account as a prepaid balance, and can be used only for bookings with BIWallet.

Balance in BIWallet doesn't bear interest, can be used only for Bus, Hotel & Cab bookings.

Amount credited in your BIWallet account post a cancellation or failed booking is refundable into the same card/account used for making the payment at the time of booking. This amount does not expire.

Amount credited in the BIWallet account by BIWallet in connection with BIWallet's promotional and marketing campaigns is non-refundable and shall expire as per applicable offer terms.

In case of cancellation of bookings made through BIWallet, the refunds if any after deducting cancellation charges will be processed into the BIWallet account only. However, if the balance in BIWallet isn't adequate for the cancellation charges of a transaction, then the deficit will be deducted from the respective bank account or credit card from which payment for that transaction was initially made.

The promotional or marketing related amount in BIWallet will be utilized after the cancellation or failed booking related amount is exhausted.

In case of bookings paid through a debit or credit card issued outside India, the refund amount cannot be transferred to BIWallet.

BusIndia.com has the sole discretion for rewarding the BIWallet user with promotional offers or points, monitoring and temporarily suspending the BIWallet account in case of any chargebacks or similar issues, etc.
